Nixon Newton Watch the "planetary"

Bookmark and Share

Nixon has, among other, a maker of watches and the pattern we see is called one of the most brilliant minds I have ever known humanity, Isaac Newton.

Among his numerous works there is one that explains why this watch is named after him, Newton was indeed the first to describe the law of universal gravitation, and the quadrant of clock recalls its motion of the planets in the Solar System.

The dial is made of polycarbonate and is square, the center is a transparent circle in which we find three colored balls. The first remains fixed at the center, a bit like the sun, the other two instead revolve around it like planets, and represent the hours and minutes.

The dial is covered by tempered glass, the strap is made of silicone and has excellent range of colors available, there are nine, ranging from darkest to brightest ones. A clock outside the box, very special, but after so great modernity conceals a deep meaning and cultural.
